What Is Transit U?

Transit U is a multi-level set of quizzes and challenges about transit in Atlanta, of various levels of difficulty. Come back each week for a new transit quiz question. We unveil a new challenge every month. You can get printable fun certificates upon completion of each level!

Purpose and Benefits

Transit U helps members of the general public familiarize themselves with public transit in Atlanta through fun quizzes and activities. You also get to ride trains and buses as part of this!

It is important for us to educate folks about how public transit is organized and operated in the Atlanta region. It makes it easier for an informed public to interact with leadership of transit agencies, cities, and other jurisdictions.

Levels

There will be three levels at first:

• Level 1: Complete 5 questions and one activity.

• Level 2: Complete 10 questions and two activities in addition to those of Level 1.

• Level 3: Secret for now!

Expectations from participants

Participants will have to correctly answer quiz questions and complete assignments over a period of time in order to progress through the levels. Quizzes and assignments are open book.

To complete some assignments, you may have to purchase and pay for transit fare or other items, and you will not be reimbursed for these costs. You are expected to adhere to the transit rider etiquette or code of conduct from any applicable transit provider.

Any travel or other activity you do in conjunction with Transit U is voluntary and at your own risk, You agree not to sue, and you agree to defend and hold MARTA Army Inc. harmless in the course of these activities.
